Computer Programming

If you have a background in computer programming then you’ll be happy to know that a lot of companies hire programmers to work from home. Some companies only pay by assignment, but there are some that will allow you to commute from home full time.

The companies that allow you to work as a programmer from home at night usually hire you in the office to make sure you can handle the work. After awhile it might be appropriate to approach your boss and ask if he or she minds that you work from home. Start with just one or two days a week and if you’re successful on these days then you might be able to ask for more. They might even send more equipment home with you if you’re successful.

Although it might seem easy to work as a programmer from home if you have children, there is nothing further from the truth. Day care is a must when working in this position. The kids can block concentration levels in an instant sending you back over code time and time again. Tell the boss you will be sending the kids to child care and the company will be assured your work will be done.
